     The Lori McDaniel Memorial Trophy is awarded to the highest scoring Non-Pro member of the SMRHA during the SMRHA Memorial Weekend Classic.
    
The trophy was first dedicated in 2002, one year after Lori McDaniel died following a long valiant struggle with cancer.  Lori showed Cutting Horses, as well as Reiner's very successfully.  She was a star in our lives.  A great competitor with a beautiful smile.
